I believe your body and brain know how to heal. I will simply guide you in uncovering pathways towards your own liberation.
I have over 20 years of experience working in coaching, mental health, and therapeutic spaces…
Virtual and In-Person integrative psychotherapy for teens, adults, and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, addictions, grief and loss, or any impactful life transition and challenge. Executive coaching for teams and businesses for strengthening leadership, authentic connection, and positive social impact.
I have worked on the frontlines in the boroughs of NYC, Oakland, and San Francisco where I have provided healing spaces for growth and transformation. I am a Registered Drama Therapist (RDT), a member of the Drama Therapy Adjunct Faculty California Institute of Integral Studies, Therapeutic Spiral International, and Beyond Psychology Network.
I am committed to personal transformation and liberation. My diverse experience extends to restorative justice, equity and social justice, drama and creative arts therapies, and facilitating experiential empowerment-centered professional development workshops for agencies and organizations.
I approach my work from a client-centered and transpersonal approach and can offer drama and creative arts therapy, mindfulness and meditation, somatic practices such as Polyvagal Theory and Brainspotting, CBT, and Parts Work (such as Internal Family Systems and Drama Therapy methods).
I customize my sessions to meet your needs.

My Approach
I create a compassionate space where my clients can access their innate wiser selves by slowing down and tuning in.
I am warm, direct, playful, and compassionate.
I understand the impacts of living in this world, which can cause us to feel overwhelmed, trapped, fearful, angry, sad, or stuck. Sometimes we lose sight of what is important to us and feel a dampening of our spirit and vitality.
IS THIS FOR ME?
Many of my clients come to me to recover and heal from past or recent traumas, and/or to develop a sense of “self” and reconnect to who they are and what their purpose is. Many come to me to explore relationships, to gain a deeper understanding of who they are, and strengthen authenticity to embody a fulfilled life with meaning and purpose.
Whatever you have been through, or at whatever stage you are in your healing, I offer a space for us to explore what you want in your life.
WHAT I OFFER
Play centered and action oriented therapies, creative expression, somatic healing, polyvagal nervous system regulation, and trauma-responsive approaches. I strive to guide you towards unearthing authenticity, connection, and a feeling of returning “home” to the body, mind, and spirit.
A compassionate attuned space where you can access your innate wiser selves by slowing down and tuning in. I work to provide my clients with science based tools to claim their potential, leading them to experience a deeper connection and relationship to themselves and the world around them.
I approach psychotherapy and coaching from a transpersonal and body-brain based perspective. From my years of experience holding spaces for healing, I have seen the most transformation in combining modalities that work with body-brain based (re)connection. While traditional talk therapy can be helpful, without integrating a body-brain based conversation, the trauma or stress stays stuck in the body resulting in limitations to reaching the wholeness of healing potential.
Together, we will unlock your vitality and create a vision and a roadmap for your life.

I Specialize in..
-
Drama & Creative Arts Therapy
Drama & Creative Arts Therapies are liberatory practices for all - adults, couples and teens. My clients find that by using their imaginations and play, they can effectively tell their stories, set goals and solve problems, express feelings, heal and transform the vulnerable parts of themselves, or experience catharsis. Research has proven that engaging in playful encounters can increase connection, authenticity, and innovation. Play also reduces symptoms associated with common experiences such as anxiety and depression, as well as limitations and defenses that often block transformation and change.
Creative Arts Therapy offers expansive ways to express what is hard to say, communicate, or share. Creative arts therapy supports self-expression and can increase perspective, insight, and problem-solving. Studies have show creative arts can also increase a sense of calm, self-regulation, attention, and mindfulness.

Somatic Oriented Therapies
Our experiences live in our bodies. Our body is our greatest teacher and healer.
Somatic body-brain based therapies such as Brainspotting and polyvagal theory offers science-based methods to work with the unervous system to release stress, tension, pain, and trauma from the body. Many of my clients experience the benefit of somatic approaches almost immediately.
Our human system doesn’t operate in silo. When we develop a deeper awareness and connection to the body through breath work, meditation, mindfulness, and gentle movement- we integrate our whole body system into the process of holistic healing and transformation.

Mindful-Based Therapies
Mindfulness and meditative practices assists with all aspects of wellness by giving you the tools to tune into the here-and-now so you can address what is happening within and around you without judgment.
Mindfulness supports you in practicing how to observe and separate yourself from your thoughts and moods – teaching you how to recognize your sense of being and presence.
I bring both somatic awareness and mindfulness together to support clients in tapping into their strengths and self compassion. The result is clients experience a reduction in anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and other self-defeating beliefs.

Trauma
I am trauma-responsive and use trauma-informed practices to support you in your healing journey. I understand most people will experience trauma in their lifetime whether it’s an accident, the loss of a loved one, exposure to violence, natural disaster, war, secondary (vicarious) trauma, or abuse and/or neglect.
I have spent over two decades serving communities and individuals impacted by trauma. You are not alone, and you can heal.
The way I work with trauma is based on nueroscience, and body-centered reconnection and resourcing. We will leverage your innate ability and wisdom to heal and work directly with the body and brain to generate new neural pathways that will reconnect you with your joy and sense of safety. Your body and mind will become a home once again.
