Drama & Creative Arts Therapy

Drama Therapy is an embodied practice that is active and experiential. My clients who experience the impact of drama therapy discover how by using imagination and play, they can effectively tell their stories, set goals, solve problems, express feelings, or experience catharsis. Studies have proven that the power of play leads to reduced anxiety and depression, develops clarity, and helps decrease limitations.

Trauma

Trauma is an emotional and physiological response to a distressing experience. Trauma can impact the ability to cope, causing feelings of helplessness, depression, anxiety, physical and psychological distress, and diminish one's sense of self. Through mindfulness, somatic practices such as Brainspotting and trauma informed polyvagal resourcing, I will guide you in transforming trauma by working with nervous system and mind-body connection.

Anxiety & Depression (youth & adults)

Depression and anxiety express in many forms. I will support you in bringing awareness to your experience and its root causes by connecting you to practices that support you in managing your symptoms.

Life Transitions

Whether you have experienced grief, a loss in a relationship, a job or career transition, a change in identity, or move…change can be hard to navigate.

When faced with change, often we lose sight of our values, strengths, dreams, and imagining of what is possible. I will support you in developing a mind-body connection to resources that will open up more ease and clarity.
